Rimmel London Wake me up Concealer Review

I've been looking for a really good concealer for a while now, I wanted one that had high coverage and did a good job at covering spots and blemishes. If you have read my favourite beauty bloggers page you will know that I am obsessed with youtubers and on YouTube many people had put this concealer in their favourites videos and it had a lot of hype surrounding it and so I thought I would try it out for myself and so I purchased it from Superdrug for £5.49 in the shade 010 Ivory.

I have only been using the concealer for about 2 weeks and already I can say I absolutely hate this concealer with a passion!

Rimmel claims is that it is a "full coverage concealer that visibly reawakens and illuminates under the eyes"
I have found that this couldn't be more from the truth. The concealer is defiantly not full coverage. Its very very low coverage and it did not 'visibly reawaken my eyes'. The concealer didn't hide any dark circles, spots or blemishes at all. I may have not been wearing any concealer at all. I also found the concealer creased under my eyes quite a lot. The only good thing that I have to say about Rimmels concealer is that it did leave under my eyes feeling moisturised and soft but that's about it.

I will defiantly not be re purchasing Rimmel Londons Wake Me Up Concealer any time soon!

Rimmel London 25 hour Foundation Review

I thought I'd kickstart my beauty products reviews with Rimmel London's 25 hour foundation. For the past year or two I've been using Rimmels foundation (red cap) that has been out for a while. I use the colour 100 ivory.
I found the foundation to have good coverage. It would hide spots and other blemishes quite well with the help of stay matte powder.
The foundation claims to be 'sweat, heat, humidity and transfer proof'. I haven't really found these claims to be true. If its hot and I'm a little sweaty etc the foundation does fade and it does come off a little. The foundation also claims to last 25 hours. This is defiantly not true. I would say the foundation lasts between 5-6 hours.
However the foundation doesn't leave you skin dry and is easy to remove.
Overall I do love the foundation although it doesn't live up to Rimmels claims.
Recently Rimmel have launched a slightly different version of this foundation called 'nude' (white cap) and i think its 10x better. I use nude in the same shade 100 ivory.
I find nude blends in more and looks a lot more natural. It has medium coverage and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and moistursed. It has a lightweight formula and leaves my skin looking smooth and poreless. I set this foundation with stay matte powder and together they give me a flawless complextion. I have only been using the nude version of Rimmels foundation for a week or two and already I'm loving it.
I recommend this foundation to anyone at school, college or anyone who needs a foundation thats quick and easy to apply. It's a defo repurchase!
